AT A MEETING OF THE GOVERNOR AND COUNCIL OF SAFETY HELD IN LEBANON

THE 3D DAY OF DECEMBER, 1777.

Order given to Capt. Samll MATTOCKS to receive of Colo. Jeremiah WADSWORTH a piece of woolen cloth in his custody, for the use of the continental army.        Order dd Capt. MATTOCKS Decemr 3d, 1777.

Order given to Capt. MATTOCKS to receive of Mr. PAYNE the various articles of cloathing in his care taken from Peleg HIDE of Norwich for the use of the continental army.    Order dd 3d Decemr, 1777.

Order given to Capt. MATTOCKS to deliver the cloathing referred to in the preceeding votes to the soldiers according to appraisal, taking their receipts, and deliver them to the paymasters of regiments or respective captains, as per orders on file.

Rowlan LUCE of Rochester permitted to sell or exchange at a reasonable rate 55 bushels salt, 5-1/2 gallons rhum and 1 quintal of codfish, for money, flour, beef, pork, butter, cheese or grain.    Permit dd Decemr 3d, 1777.
